4th May 2019

Mostly a calm and sunny day although the wind picked up a bit
late morning and it remained cold. Two Slavonian Grebes (Svarthakedopping) are
still present around Norrhamn, and a few more nestboxes were also checked for
the first time this season at the far north end of the island. By now there are
many Arctic Terns (Silvertärna) present
around the whole coast of the island making for a cool soundtrack along with
the Eiders! A Black Redstart (Svart Rödstjärt)
was around the lighthouse this morning.

24 birds were ringed this morning, including the first Linnet

There will be three at the obs
