Rain set in this morning and continued most of the day. A good number of grounded migrants were present and 168 birds were ringed before the rain set in this morning, including the first Great Grey Shrike (Varfågel) of the year. The Siberian Chffchaff (Siberisk gransångare) ringed on 25th was retrapped. A Penduline Tit (Pungmes) was heard and seen around Bredmar and a Hen Harrier (Blå kärrhök) flew south.
