A day of fine though chilly weather. 143 birds were ringed including the first 4 Meadow Pipits (Ängspiplärka) of the year and the first 4 Wrens (Gärdsmyg) of the autumn. Interestingly, a Honey Buzzard (Bivråk) came out of roost by the football pitch this morning and then drifted south.
