Strong winds restricted the number of nets opened at 0730 and as the wind decreased more nets were opened through the morning, before ringing stopped at 1500.

A total of 294 new birds of 19 species/ sub-species, with the best being a Hornuggla (Long-eared Owl). Todays ringing takes Kays total of birds ringed on Landsort during our four periods of ringing here to over 20,000 birds, with only Mattias, Bosse and Pelle having higher totals.

There will be three at the Obs overnight: Chris, Kay & Lasse.
