Overnight rain and a strong wind prevented netting until 0830 when 10 sheltered nets were opened until 1100 when further rain caused all netting to be stopped for the day.
A total of 13 new birds of ten species/ sub-species. Among them a late Trädgårdssångare (Garden Warbler), though the latest for the Observatory was on 24th October 2001.
