26th July 2017

Restricted net opening due to strong wind with 22 nets opened at 0345, some closed at 1100 and the rest at 1145.

20 new birds of 10 species including the first young Sävsångare (Sedge Warbler) of the autumn.

Migration watching was again very poor with Kalle abandoning any hope of seeing a movement of waders due to a strong NE wind – unfavourable for here.

A guided talk given to 9 adults from 1130 until 1230.

There will be four at the Obs overnight: Chris, Kay, Kalle & Marie.
