11th October 2019

A windy day and only some of the more sheltered nets were opened, 21 birds were ringed. The light trap has been run most nights since getting it last week. After a slow start with none or very few moths the mild weather over the past couple of days has meant larger catches and we’ve been able to get our eye in on the more regular species in this season. So far we have recorded 12 species.
