15th July 2018

All nets opened at 0415 and closed at 1145. A total of 21 new birds of 11 species, including the first Woodpigeon (Ringduva) of the year, only the 9th trapped here.

From 1130 until 1245 a guided talk given to five people, all of who have island connections. Noticeable that we are not getting non-islanders now.

Straight after the guiding finished we were off to the village to appear, in very minor roles, in a play ‘Storm in a water glass’. Today, and yesterdays performances were very well attended and were clearly enjoyed by everyone!!!

There will be two at the Obs overnight: Chris & Kay.
