6th September 2018

Nets opened at 0530 and closed at 1100, with an east to north-east wind and good cloud cover that gradually cleared.

Despite a very promising start with two Red-breasted Flycatchers (Mindre flugsnappare) by 0600 the day was quiet with just 37 new birds of 11 species.

Afternoon spent trimming the netting areas and paths – probably for the last time this season.

There will be just two at the Obs tonight, as Mikael did not arrive last night: Chris & Kay.
