Most nets opened at 0345 with the rest opened within 90 minutes as the strong NE wind decreased and moved gradually East. Nets closed at 1100 with 16 new birds of 11 species.
Afternoon was spent checking nest boxes with 54 Great Tit (Talgoxe) chicks ringed to give 70 birds of 12 species for the day. A female Teal with 6 small chicks were seen on Bredmar pond at 0400 and one of the boxes checked near Saltmarbunkervägan had five small Redstart (Rödstjärt) chicks in it. Too small to ring just now, but in a few days time.
There will be two at the Obs overnight: Chris & Kay.
