28th September 2017

Nets opened at 0600 and closed at 1330 with a moderate wind increasing through the morning, to finish at 10 m/s.

Best day yet with 271 new birds of 15 species with a late Grå flugsnappare (Spotted Flycatcher) being most notable.

Janne, Seppo, Fredrik and both Ulfs all spent the morning at SUDD. Seems nothing ‘special’ was seen, though an update of notable sightings will be included in the diary later.

There will be seven at the Obs overnight: Chris, Kay, Fredrik, Ulf L, Ulf K, Seppo and Janne.
