20th May 2017

All nets opened at 0345 and closed at 1100 with 30 new birds of 11 species. Also caught were three notable re-traps, all initially trapped at Bredmar: Näktergal (Thrush Nightingale) ringed 2016-05-13, Törnsångare (Whitethroat) ringed 2016-05-18 and a male Rosenfink (Rosefinch) ringed 2013-06-08.

Janne & Håkan headed south for the morning but experienced a very quiet day for migration watching. Håkan leaves the island this afternoon and Bosse has not been able to make it this weekend after all, so just three at the Obs tonight; Chris, Kay & Janne.
