25 nets opened at 0400 with the last five opened at 0600 when the sun had thawed the ice from them. A cold start but very calm with sun throughout the netting period, which finished with all nets closed at 1100.

A total of 51 new birds of 9 species including the first Göktyta (Wryneck) of the year and two male Rödstjärt (Redstart), also the first for the year.

More work around the Obs this afternoon.
