30th September 2019

224 birds were ringed this morning including another Great Grey Shrike (Varfågel), a Tree Pipit (Trädpiplärka) and a Spotted Flycatcher (Grå flugsnappare). Today we also passed 6000 birds ringed this year and 2000 birds in September, a good way to end the month. A first attempt trying out the new moth trap this evening was thwarted by a sudden squally rain shower after which the wind picked up to a brisk westerly.
