20th September 2019

A chill in the air this morning following a clear night, even a little frost in the more sheltered areas, then clouding over by daybreak.

Four nötskrika/jay were quite vocal in the trees around the Fågelstation for a couple of hours during the morning, which are the first seen here this year, although the stare/starlings had almost convinced us nötskrika/jay were present during the spring. Vismig was quieter, two sparvhök/sparrowhawk went south early morning, 24 ängspiplärka/meadow pipit and 18 bofink/chaffinch also went south over the course of the morning.
