Nets opened at 0345 and closed at 1100 with 29 new birds of 7 species, including a Blyth’s Reed Warbler (Busksångare), the first since 2016.

Afternoon spent checking more Starling (Stare) nest boxes. Five more chicks ringed from two boxes, to give 34 new birds of 8 species overall.
Low levels of occupancy this year from the boxes checked so far.

Swift (Tornseglare) continue to investigate the nest boxes, with three coming and going through the day.

There will be two at the Obs overnight: Chris & Kay.
