12 nets opened at 0430 in a strong W wind that gradually increased allowing 23 nets to be open by the time all nets were closed at 1100.

A better catch than in the recent few days with 19 new birds of 8 species including the first Gök (Common Cuckoo) of the year.

Afternoon will be spent reducing canopy height around some of the nets now that the breeding season has finished.
