Up at 0345 but nets not opened until 0700 due to rain passing through. Nets operated until 1145 with a guiding for 5 adults and six youngsters at 1100.

A total of 23 new birds of 11 species, including the first Steglits (Goldfinch) fledgling of the year, though some have been seen in the area for the last few days.

More nest box checking this afternoon before we start a run of several days of booked guided talks.

There will be four at the Obs tonight; Chris, Kay, Lasse and Håkan.
